    As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Honda of Thornhill, you’ll play an important role in helping customers find the right vehicle while creating a seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable buying experience. From first-time buyers to returning Honda customers, you’ll act as a trusted advisor throughout their vehicle-purchasing journey.

    What You’ll Do


    • Welcome customers with a friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
    • Understand customer needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget to recommend the right vehicle.
    • Conduct engaging vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives.
    • Guide customers through the complete sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
    • Build lasting relationships through consistent communication and exceptional follow-up.
    • Develop repeat and referral business by creating positive customer experiences.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership CRM.
    • Meet and exceed individual sales objectives while contributing to team goals.
    • Stay current on Honda vehicles, features, technology, incentives, and promotions.
    • Maintain knowledge of competitor vehicles and automotive market trends.
    • Coordinate professional vehicle deliveries and review vehicle features, technology, warranties, and maintenance requirements with customers.
    • Introduce customers to the Service team to help support a positive long-term ownership experience.
    • Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training.


    What You'll Bring


    • 1–3 years of automotive sales experience preferred      ; previous retail sales experience is an asset.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong customer service and sales abilities with a results-driven mindset.
    • Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
    • Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
    • Valid Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Valid OMVIC registration/license required.
