Job Summary

  • Work as a team member to meet and exceed safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Demonstrate safe practices, and ensure compliance with company values, policies, and Good Production Practices
  • Actively seek and accepts positive and constructive feedback from colleagues and leadership

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the following stages:
  • Harvest
  • Sanitations (Flower rooms and equipment, Dry rooms, Trim and Packaging areas)
  • Plant maintenance in the grow rooms – defoliating, lollipop, trellis, etc.
  • De-Leafing
  • Plant Feedings
  • De-budding
  • Trimming
  • Packaging
  • Destruction of Cannabis
  • Read and understand the SOPs for the tasks assigned. Alert management/QA to any discrepancies
  • Completing and preparing appropriate documents using Good Documentation Practices
  • Perform and record:
  • Production Activities
  • Accurate weights
  • Calculations/Reconciliations
  • Train new team members (as assigned)
  • Follow HSE guidelines and raise concerns to management
  • Any other tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure the proper selection, care and use of tools, parts and equipment required for specific tasks
  • Maintain proper sanitation and hygiene practices
  • Maintain repetition and consistency with strong attention to detail
  • Work in a collaborative environment
  • Carry out other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to understand, and follow verbal and written work instructions without errors
  • Previous trimming experience in a cannabis industry considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to meet the standard physical demands in a manufacturing environment (able to lift up to 50lbs)
  • Will be exposed to environmental allergens including cannabis and its components (THC, CBD, Pollen etc)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Self-Managed team player with a positive attitude exhibiting cooperation, communication, flexibility and initiative to acquire functional skills
