Applications are invited for Sessional Instructor positions in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for the 2026-2027 academic year. The positions involve participation in clinical skills, clinical presentations, clinical or practicum rotation, and discipline courses in the DVM program.
UCVM's DVM program combines a comprehensive general veterinary education with enhanced opportunities in selected areas. The integrated core-elective curriculum combines discipline-based courses with extensive on-campus and off campus practical learning. UCVM uses a distributed veterinary learning community including public and private practice partners to deliver its fourth-year practicum program. Willingness and ability to travel to participate in teaching experiences is required in many instances, with teaching taking place in person at the Foothills Campus, Spy Hill Campus, or in the field. Teaching assignments may range from a 0.01 to 4.0 half course equivalents.
Qualifications include a DVM degree, with appropriate expertise in the designated area. Appropriate expertise may include an advanced degree, board certification, or equivalent clinical experience in the designated area.
