Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, cooking, and restaurant operations, with a passion for creating delicious meals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
  • Oversee food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Serve food to guests with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent customer service
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment sanitation

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, meal preparation, and food safety practices
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a kitchen environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and ability to prepare diverse menu items confidently
