About us

Luxury Mountain Vacation Rentals has been in operation at Big White providing rental vacation accommodation for guests on behalf of owners for over 15 years. We have a long history of exceeding guest expectations providing luxurious, well appointed vacation rentals.

Our team is comprised of other small businesses such as: Snowy Nights Hot Tubs, Billy’s Waterworks, Big White Electrical and many others. We support other local businesses by hiring the best talent on the mountain to service our owners’ and guests’ needs. We are a locally owned and operated on-mountain business. The business is owned and operated by Sean & Lana Richardson, long time residents of Big White. We are avid skiers, world travelers and adventure seekers. As such, we understand the needs of our guests and ensure their ski vacations are memorable ones.

Dear Applicant,

  • LMVR WILL NOT SPONSOR ANY VISAS
  • Applicants with a CURRENT AND VALID WORK VISA FOR CANADA WILL BE CONSIDERED.
  • This is a seasonal position (November 12- end of April) . There will not be any work or accommodation provided outside of the season. Consider this when applying and moving to resort for only a 6 month contract. This role is not suited for everyone.

Job Description:

Servicing our portfolio of private condos and Chalets across the mountain. Responsibilities include servicing units in accordance with our procedures such as making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash and exchanging towels and linens, preparing units for the next guest and replenishing guest unit supplies while they are in house.

Positions Requirements/Skills:

  • Able to bend, lift and be standing or walking most of the day
  • Attention to detail
  • Mature and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Well-groomed
  • Good customer service

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest units while keeping up with standards set by the Housekeeping Supervisor and Manager
  • Work in a team environment and take direction from a supervisor
  • Be prepared to bend and lift items in order to properly make beds, clean bathrooms, and vacuum
  • Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests
  • Maintain clean and tidy appearance
  • Have good outdoor and indoor footwear, along with clothing required for winter conditions
  • Maintain clean and tidy work area
  • Be trustworthy and punctual
  • Any other reasonable requests as made by the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant to Housekeeping Manager.
