The incumbent is responsible for leading the operations of an assigned territory that involves track inspection and repairs. The role oversees replacing rails, ties, switches, and ballasts. In addition, the position provides daily support to the Track Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities

Handle engineering operations which include compliance with safe work procedures, Transport Canada guidelines, and CN standards, policies, and regulations
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday and is eligible to participate in CN’s hybrid work model. The role requires regular travel (up to 50%) across their assigned territory at times without advance notice. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress. The position requires responding to unexpected and emergency situations, and being able to lift up to 70 lbs.
