Build Your Practice at Vitalis: Winnipeg’s New Multispecialty Healthcare Destination

About the Opportunity

Vitalis Comprehensive Healthcare is being established as a modern, multispecialty healthcare centre of more than 20,000 sq. ft. Our mission is to provide timely, efficient, patient-centred medical care in a safe and respectful environment, while helping reduce wait times for consultation and treatment in Manitoba.

Once fully operational in September 2026, Vitalis will include 12,000 sq. ft. of clinic space with 40 consult/examination rooms for family medicine, urgent care, and medical subspecialties, along with 8,000 sq. ft. of day surgery space and a 20-bed patient recovery area.

Vitalis Surgical Centre will provide day surgery and endoscopy services in general surgery, surgical oncology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, pediatric, vascular, orthopedic surgery, and urology. The surgical centre will include four fully equipped CSA Z8000-compliant Class C operating rooms with general anesthesia capabilities and two Class A endoscopy suites. Family physicians practising at Vitalis Comprehensive Healthcare may also have opportunities to assist surgeons at Vitalis Surgical Centre, where appropriate.

Why Join Vitalis?

  • Brand new, purpose-built, dedicated healthcare facility with modern technology and equipment
  • Competitive and transparent scaled overhead rates designed to support high patient throughput
  • Flexible working hours, including options for evening and weekend practice
  • 40 large, well-equipped exam/consultation and procedure rooms
  • EMR system with on-site use and remote access
  • Efficient medical administration and backend support, including billing, scheduling, and callbacks
  • Integrated walk-in, specialist, and surgical services all under one roof with radiology services nearby.
  • Friendly, collegial, and supportive team environment
  • Free parking for approximately 70 vehicles for physicians, staff, and patients
  • Convenient location in McGillivray Business Park, near high traffic McGillivray Boulevard and growing communities in southwest Winnipeg

Who We Are Looking For

We invite expressions of interest from high-performing family physicians, medical and surgical specialists whose goals align with our mission of providing timely, high-quality, respectful care to Manitobans. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians who wish to establish a new practice, relocate an existing practice, build a flexible schedule, or practice in a multidisciplinary environment with strong administrative and clinical support.
