About Dentixion

Dentixion Group Ltd. is a Canadian healthtech company developing an AI-powered dental software platform for modern dental practices. The platform is designed to support dental image analysis, treatment planning, patient communication, and clinical training through AI, VR/AR visualization, predictive analytics, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.

Dentixion is currently in its first-year development phase. The company is focused on building and refining its early platform modules, preparing the product for controlled pilot testing, and developing a secure technical foundation for future deployment in dental clinics.

Position Summary

Dentixion is seeking a Software Developer to support the development of its early AI, VR, and AR application modules. This role will contribute to the company’s MVP and core platform features, including user interfaces, backend services, database workflows, diagnostic image handling, and secure cloud-based functionality.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and interested in building practical healthcare technology. This is a hands-on role in a small startup team, where the developer will work closely with the COO, clinical founders, and regulatory team to ensure the software supports real dental workflow needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software features for Dentixion’s AI-driven dental platform.• Build user-facing interfaces for dental practitioners, administrators, and future pilot users.• Support backend development, API structures, database workflows, and secure data handling.• Work with diagnostic image workflows, AI model outputs, annotation data, and structured reporting features.• Assist with platform integration planning for dental imaging systems and cloud-based storage.• Support the development of VR/AR-related features where required.• Test, debug, and document software modules to support product reliability and future regulatory readiness.• Collaborate with the clinical and regulatory teams to ensure the platform is practical, secure, and suitable for health technology use.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.• Experience with web application development using React.js or similar frontend frameworks.• Experience with backend development using Node.js, Express, Python, or similar technologies.• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, secure storage, and role-based access systems.• Ability to write clean, organized, and well-documented code.• Interest in AI, healthcare technology, dental software, medical imaging, or VR/AR applications.• Experience with machine learning pipelines, healthcare data, AWS, React Native, Unity, Unreal Engine, or image-processing workflows is considered an asset.
