Full job description

Why this role exists

Askiy.ai is going to market this year and needs a voice before it needs anything else. We have a platform that turns utility bills, interval data, tariffs, and emissions factors into verified, audit ready intelligence, and almost nobody outside this building knows it exists. This hire is the first real step in the Askiy go to market and that is where the majority of their time goes.

EcoGrid Renewables Inc. carries everything else. One brand, one voice, one story covering the full range of what we deliver, from solar and BESS to EMIS, power factor correction, and lighting. We are not marketing two separate companies to the public.

The second reason this role exists is simpler. There are solar and energy companies out there winning on attention alone. Their engineering is average and their pricing is high, and they are still the name people recognize because they show up in the feed every day with content people actually stop for. We can do that, and we have the advantage of having real substance behind it. This role is how we close that gap.

## What the role does

**Content and social.** Build and run the content engine across Askiy and EcoGrid Renewables Inc.

LinkedIn matters because that is where commercial and industrial buyers live, but LinkedIn alone is not the job. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and short form video are all in scope, and the person in this seat should be fluent in what performs on each one rather than pushing the same post to all of them. Volume and consistency beat polish. We want a feed that is worth following, built on real projects, real numbers, and real personality, with enough humour and human voice that people engage with it instead of scrolling past. If a competitor with a worse product is out-posting us, we are losing a race we should be winning.

**Website rebrand and rebuild.** Work with the development team to rebrand and rebuild both the Askiy and EcoGrid Renewables Inc. websites from the ground up, then own them permanently. Current, accurate, and enticing, not a brochure that goes stale in four months. The Askiy site in particular has to hold up in front of an investor and a technically sophisticated buyer at the same time.

**Askiy product marketing.** Work directly with George Tsikos and the development team to turn what they build into language a customer or an investor understands. Feature explainers, release communications, launch campaign material, and the content backbone of the Askiy pipeline. The dev team moves fast and works in Claude Code, so this person needs to keep pace with a technical team and ask good questions without needing to be walked through the answers.

**Sales and technical support.** Work with Todd on the material sales actually needs, and with Mitch on the technical and solar design side to get projects documented properly. Case studies, proposal assets, and campaign material that supports live deals. Finished projects should not sit undocumented.

**Measurement.** Track reach, engagement, site traffic, and inbound leads, and report on it monthly. A short honest read on what is working and what to stop doing.

## What success looks like in year one

Askiy has a public identity and a following that did not exist before. Both websites rebuilt and current. Content going out consistently across multiple platforms on a schedule that does not slip. A library of published case studies drawn from real projects. And a measurable increase in inbound interest, on both the Askiy and EcoGrid sides, that traces back to content.

## Who fits

Someone early in their career who can write and who understands the internet. Writing ability is the non negotiable one, and we will ask for samples and read them carefully. Alongside it, an instinct for what makes people stop scrolling. Those two things rarely sit in the same person and we are looking for the one where they do.

Beyond that, curiosity about a technical subject. Energy is not simple. Tariffs, interval data, emissions factors, and payback math are part of every story we tell, and nobody needs to arrive knowing any of it. They do need to want to learn it. The candidates who work out are the ones who ask why a number is what it is.

Comfortable shooting and editing short form video, working in Canva or Adobe, and managing website content. Familiarity with AI tools is a real advantage given how the rest of this organization operates.

The rest is temperament. This is a new seat in a small company, which means nobody is handing over a content calendar. The right person builds it, brings ideas, and takes direction without needing to be managed through it.

Education in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field. Recent graduates and current students in a work placement term are both welcome to apply.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
