Brake Press Operator
Location: Woodbridge
Pay Rate: $22.00 + $0.75 shift premium
Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am (nights)

Canadian Executive Search Group (CES) is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with experience in metal fabrication, machine setup, and precision measuring who is looking for a long-term position with a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press equipment to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications
• Set up machines, tooling, and dies based on production requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances
• Make machine adjustments as required to maintain accuracy and product quality
• Monitor equipment during production and identify any issues or defects
• Safely handle and position metal materials throughout the production process
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices

Requirements

• Previous Brake Press/Press Brake operating experience required
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, or similar measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required
