Who We Are:

Skycope is a proudly Canadian company dedicated to securing the skies against emerging drone threats. We design and develop advanced radio frequency (RF) sensors and AI-driven software to detect, track, and classify drones, protecting critical infrastructure and public safety across the country.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-
conscious Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our growing team for a 100% on-site role at our Burnaby, BC location. In this role, you will help manage inventory (focuses on managing electronic products, hardware devices and components), process orders smoothly, and maintain a safe working environment following WorkSafeBC guidelines

It is a role that requires focus, consistency, and precision.

If you enjoy organizing, tracking, and making sure everything is correct — you will do well here.
If you prefer fast-moving, flexible, or loosely structured work — this role may not be a good fit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving & Inventory Control

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments in the system.
  • Label and store materials strictly according to company procedures to ensure traceability.
  • Maintain precise inventory status records and ensure physical stock matches system data.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, assist with audits, and proactively investigate any discrepancies.

2. Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with high attention to detail.
  • Support quality inspections and pre-shipment checks to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage internal transfers, asset tracking, and equipment loan records.

3. Warehouse Maintenance & Safety

  • Operate basic warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, strictly adhering to WorkSafeBC regulations.
  • Communicate inventory updates and operational issues clearly to supervisors and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Language: Fluent in English (strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for safety and documentation).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency (Inventory systems like inFlow, Email, Excel/Spreadsheets). Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Inventory / warehouse / asset management experience
  • Experience with systems like ERP, or similar tools
  • Experience handling electronics or hardware

Salary Range:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year
