Full job description

Reliance Ventures is a privately owned chemical and fluid hauling company based in Fort St. John B.C and Grande Prairie, AB. We service North Eastern B.C. and Northern Alberta with branches located in Fort St John and Grande Prairie. We are currently seeking Class 1 drivers to join our growing team.

Reliance Ventures offers new fleet of tractors and trailers, dedicated tractors to drivers, team atmosphere, quality maintenance program, competitive wages, quarterly bonus program, benefits package, and room for advancement.

General Job Duties

  • Performing pre and post trip inspection, keep record of logs, paperwork
  • Maintaining all tools and equipment to the required standards
  • Driving safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times
  • Driving on remote oil & gas roads in extreme weather conditions (snow\ice\mud)
  • Chaining up tires when required
  • Participating fully in job observations, near miss and HID reporting, site inspections, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings
  • Identifying and mitigating safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading of bulk fluids into trucks and bulk storage tanks

Qualifications Required

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license
  • Preferred 3 Years driving experience
  • Possess safety tickets including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and H2S Alive
  • Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
  • Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
  • Integrity and reliability, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary
  • Willing and able to test and pass industry required drug and alcohol screening
  • Capable of working in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain)
