Full job description
About us
We are looking for Wood Product Assemblers to join our team working an afternoon shift - 3:30 - midnight.
Candidates will be required to:
- Read and interpret order sheets to assemble our prefabricated products such as doors, window sashes, floorboards, walls, trusses and other modular components
- Must be comfortable utilizing a variety of hand and power tools in the assembly of modular components.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure standards of quality are met.
- Identify defects and mark for repairs.
- Prepare modular products for shipment to job sites.
- Use required safety equipment and PPE as directed.
- Assist with unloading raw wood supplies and prep for production.
- Set-up and operate equipment and machines such as power saws, planers, sanders etc.
Ideal candidates will be able to work well as part of a team, have an attention to detail, be able to manage loads of up to 13.5kgs and work in a noisy warehouse environment.
