Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to seniors in various living environments. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence. Your positive attitude and attentive nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, fostering a warm and respectful environment that encourages dignity and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and hygiene.
  • Support patients with mobility needs, including helping them move safely around their living space or facility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently.
  • Engage residents in social activities, conversation, and recreational pursuits to encourage mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Monitor residents’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or supervisors.
  • Patient has ALZHEIMER.

Willing to relocate

Live-in

It will be advantage if you speak SINHALA / TAMIL.

Pay: $21.50 per hour
