Haga HD Mechanics Ltd is a Saskatchewan-based heavy-duty repair company focused on reliable, high-quality maintenance and field service support for mining and industrial clients. We specialize in keeping equipment running in demanding environments and backing our customers with skilled, dependable technicians.

We are currently hiring an Surface/Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeypersons for a northern Saskatchewan mine site.

This is a full-time fly-in/fly-out position on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, with camp accommodations and meals provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment and support units
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and repair efficiently
  • Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Work closely with operations and other trades to keep equipment production-ready
  • Maintain accurate service records and report on failures and repairs
  • Support planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Contribute to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal certified)
  • Experience with mining equipment and/or heavy truck & transport is a strong asset
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
  • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Valid First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and SCOT (or willingness to obtain)
  • GMSA (General Mine Safety Awareness) may be required and obtained
  • Comfortable working in remote site conditions on a rotational schedule
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
