Full job description

Alexander Safety is looking for motivated, professional Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) to join our growing team providing medical coverage for industrial and oilfield operations throughout Alberta.

Whether you're an experienced industrial medic or looking to begin your career in the oilfield, we'd like to hear from you. We are willing to train the right candidates who have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care within your scope of practice.
  • Conduct daily inspections of medical units and equipment.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and professionally.
  • Respond to workplace medical emergencies.
  • Maintain medical supplies and vehicle readiness.
  • Work closely with clients while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Perform routine site duties as required by the project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP).
  • Valid H2S Alive certificate.
  • Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certificate.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in remote environments.

Assets

  • Previous oilfield or industrial medic experience.
  • Experience working in remote camps or pipeline construction.
  • Additional industry safety tickets.
  • 4x4 driving experience.

No industrial experience? No problem. We are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn and build a career in industrial medical services.
