Distribution Center Order Fulfillment Associate, Paradise, NL

We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and highly motivated full-time Order Fulfillment Associate at our Distribution Centre located in Paradise, NL.

Position Overview

The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed, picked, packed and prepared for shipment or delivery accurately and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by meeting productivity targets and shipping deadlines while maintaining a safe, clean, organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Order Picking

  • Pick customers orders accurately using pick lists and adhering to fulfillment schedules
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers and condition before packing or staging
  • Inspect products for damage or defects prior to shipment and report any issues immediately to the respective supervisor
  • Pack orders securely to prevent damage during shipment
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Where required, assist in the preparation of shipping labels, packing slips and other required documentation
  • Stage completed orders for shipment, delivery or customer pick-up
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, shelves and staging areas
  • Assist with receiving, stocking and inventory counts as required
  • Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Support other warehouse functions as required
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year order picking experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Forklift certification considered an asset
