We are hiring Maintenance Technicians in Calgary, AB!

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for duct cleaning and maintenance on residential heating, air conditioning and water heating systems. This role involves conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of HVAC systems. This individual plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal indoor air quality, extending the lifespan of HVAC systems, and contributing to customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

This position will include, but not be limited to the following:


Duct Cleaning

  • Perform duct cleaning in residential homes using portable vacuum and high-pressured air

HVAC Tune Ups

  • Complete inspection and cleaning of residential gas furnaces
  • Complete inspection and cleaning of central air conditioning units
  • Perform safety check on residential HVAC systems

Customer Solutions

  • Recommend and explain to the homeowner the services needed to prolong the lifespan of the HVAC equipment
  • Share the results of the safety check with homeowners and make them aware of any hazards

Customer Experience

  • Ensure customers are comfortable, and understand the work conducted
  • Explain the services provided to customers, and what will need to be done to prolong the systems lifespan

Safety

  • Actively participate in the company safety program and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic vehicle maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-year driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Customer/member service oriented

Please note Action Furnace will only indenture new apprentices under the Gas Fitter B trade. Applicants who are registered under any other trades may be eligible to continue their program with Action Furnace if hired.
