Brenta Construction Inc. with over 30 years of construction experience and a commitment to excellence as a leading concrete forming contractor in Metro Vancouver. Specializing in complex forming structures such as parkades, high-rises, pools, community centers, and commercial buildings, we bring innovation, precision, and expertise to every project.

We are looking for an experienced SCAFFOLDER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in safely and efficiently building and removing scaffolding on construction sites.

Job site location: Vancouver/Coquitlam/Surrey/Langley area

Responsibilities:

  • Build, take down, and adjust scaffolding safely according to project needs.
  • Make sure scaffolding is according to plan, stable and can safely support workers and equipment.
  • Work with team members to plan and schedule scaffold setups and takedowns.
  • Maintain and repair scaffolding to keep it safe and functional.
  • Follow safety rules, including fall protection.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized for a safe environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the installation and dismantling of scaffold or eagerness to learn and willingness to do this physically demanding role
  • Familiar with different types of scaffolding systems
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Physically able to work at heights and in various weather conditions
