As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and driven Account Executive to join our Purchasing team.


**Job Title:** Purchasing Manager


**Job Summary:**

The Purchasing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving inventory growth through direct, in-person interactions. This role is focused on closing customers on-site, with appointments booked for you by our dedicated team of Sales Development Reps. You will facilitate these appointments for inventory purchases, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role demands a self-motivated individual with exceptional closing ability, extensive product knowledge, and a talent for building strong rapport with clients.


**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct in person client appointments on site to purchase vehicles

  • Implement closing strategies and scripts to secure vehicle purchases.

  • Develop client relationships and identify vehicle sale motivations.

  • Achieve a minimum vehicle purchase closing rate of 40%.

  • Ensure accurate collection of required customer documentation.

  • Facilitate effective communication with Sales Development Representative and Vehicle Quality Assurance Coordinators.


**Requirements:**

  • Experience with wholesale market guides (Open Lane, Canadian Black Book, Vauto).

  • Extensive product knowledge in the automotive industry.

  • Comprehensive understanding of repair costs for both cosmetic and mechanical components

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales engagement tools.

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive sales is highly preferred.

  • Passion for sales and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

  • Existing or previous licensing with VSA, OMVIC or AMVIC is highly preferred.
