General Manager

BTRMLK – Oakville, ON
Full-Time | $32/hour

BTRMLK is a premium fried chicken brand built on one simple principle: never compromise on quality.

What started as a small concept has grown into multiple successful locations, with plans for continued expansion across Ontario. We're looking for an experienced General Manager who wants to play a key role in building something exceptional.

About the Role:

As Restaurant Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for our Oakville location. You will lead the team, maintain operational excellence, and ensure every guest receives the premium experience BTRMLK is known for.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time in the restaurant coaching the team, working alongside staff during peak periods, and ensuring operational excellence. This is not a desk-based management position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Build and mentor supervisors and future leaders
  • Create weekly schedules and manage labour efficiently
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure food safety and health standards are consistently met
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
  • Hold team members accountable to company expectations
  • Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
  • Experience managing a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and labour control
  • Fully Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
