Job overview:

Grotto Getaway is looking for a new member of their Team who will be responsible for

supporting the day-to-day functioning of our campground. You are responsible for

assisting in managing various aspects of campground operations to ensure a positive

experience for campers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance Tasks:

● Perform a variety of daily maintenance tasks, including campsite set-up, firewood

supply, routine landscaping, maintaining, and repairing equipment and facilities.

● Ensure proper upkeep and cleanliness of public areas, restroom & shower facilities,

spa amenities, luxury glamping accommodations, and their sites.

● Maintain waste disposal and recycling facilities and activities.

● Assist in setting up and taking down glamping units and equipment as needed.

Customer Service Excellence:

● Provide informed information to our guests about campground facilities and

operations, as well as nearby attractions in a professional and pleasant manner.

● Timely address, resolve, and communicate guest queries and concerns.

Team Collaboration:

● Collaborate with all other staff to ensure high-quality team and guest experiences.

Qualifications:

● We are a seasonal - 7 days a week business, so this position will require the ability to

work flexibly. Including Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays.

● Previous maintenance, handyman, hospitality experience, or similar work is a plus.

● Good customer service, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

● Physical Fitness for General Labour and Maintenance Tasks

Compensation and Benefits:

● Hourly rate from $20 per hour, based on experience.

● Anticipated start date: Mid-April.

●Job Types: Part-time, Fixed Term Contract, Seasonal. Contract length: 3-8 months.

● Free accommodation provided for the successful candidate, if needed.

● Flexible schedule.

● On-site parking.

● Paid time off.
