Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time seasonal Campground Attendants that will take care of the overall day to day tasks around the campground and front desk.


Wage
: $18 per hour

Staff Accommodation: available on site. Applicants applying with a friend or partner are encouraged to apply, as shared staff accommodation may be available.

Shifts: Full-time, seasonal (May to October) position including days, evenings, and weekends


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Trading Post store with reservation, guest requests, stocking shelves, and processing sales.
  • Educate visitors on campground rules; walk the campground and enforce all campground rules including but not limited to pet regulations, wildlife, enforcement of quiet hours, enforcement of checkout time.
  • Organize the front desk.
  • Report all violations of rules to your supervisor/manger.
  • Provide housekeeping to all Trappers Tents and Tipis to ensure it is guest ready and to standard.
  • Clean sites of debris and rake upon guest departure.
  • Be visible and available to answer questions and help guests.
  • Clean and maintain campsites, day use areas, and all public areas of the property.
  • Basic landscaping duties including raking and trimming of branches, etc.
  • Maintain food waste bins and picking up litter around all areas of campground.
  • Maintenance of washroom facilities which includes sweeping and cleaning the outhouses.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Campground work is considered an asset.
  • Able to live in a remote location.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows – Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Negative criminal record check.
