Job Summary
The Campground Attendant is responsible for the daily upkeep, guest services, and safety of the camping facility. This is a seasonal role with the potential for year-round employment. The position requires a balance of physical labor and customer-facing duties to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors.

Facilities & Grounds Maintenance:

Cleaning: Regularly sanitizing washrooms, showers, and campsites.

Site Prep: Preparing campsite pads, assisting customers with vehicle positioning upon arrival, and cleaning picnic tables post-checkout.

Landscaping: Mowing lawns, weeding, trimming branches, and maintaining trails.

Minor Repairs: Repairing irrigation, painting, and performing light maintenance on campground equipment.

Guest Services & Administration:

Check-ins/Outs: Managing guest registrations via CRM (Campspot), handling reservations by phone and email, and processing payments.

Information: Providing local area information, directions, and guidance on park amenities as a park ambassador.

Safety & Rule Enforcement:

Patrols: Monitoring campground activity to ensure site safety.

Educating visitors on park regulations, including quiet policies, pet policies, and wildlife safety.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform manual labor in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).

Certifications: A valid driver's license is frequently required; First Aid (OFA Level 1 or higher) is considered a strong asset.

Must pass a criminal record check.

Work Environment

Often includes weekends, evenings, and holidays, especially during peak summer months.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
