Sommaire du poste
Le Stratège en médias payants est responsable de l’élaboration, de la mise en œuvre et de l’optimisation de stratégies publicitaires numériques visant à générer des résultats d’affaires mesurables pour les clients. Agissant à la fois comme conseiller stratégique et expert en publicité numérique, cette personne collabore directement avec les clients afin de comprendre leurs objectifs, de traduire leurs besoins d’affaires en programmes publicitaires efficaces et de formuler des recommandations continues permettant de maximiser la performance et le retour sur investissement.
Le ou la Stratège en médias payants gère des campagnes sur Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, les réseaux Display, la vidéo et d’autres solutions de médias payants, tout en maintenant une forte orientation vers la réussite des clients, l’identification d’occasions de croissance et la performance à long terme des comptes. Ce rôle combine une prise de décision fondée sur les données, une réflexion stratégique, la gestion des relations clients, la collaboration créative et une expertise technique afin d’aider les clients à atteindre une croissance durable de leurs activités.
Principales responsabilités (classées par ordre de priorité)
1. Stratégie de campagnes et performance
- Élaborer, lancer et optimiser des campagnes publicitaires payantes sur les moteurs de recherche, les réseaux d’affichage (Display) et d’autres solutions publicitaires.
- Traduire les objectifs d’affaires des clients, les publics cibles, le positionnement concurrentiel et les occasions de marché en stratégies de médias payants complètes et efficaces.
- Concevoir et optimiser les structures de comptes, le ciblage des audiences, les stratégies d’enchères, les plans d’allocation budgétaire et les cadres de tests afin de maximiser la performance.
- Assurer une surveillance continue de la performance des campagnes et cerner les occasions d’améliorer la génération de prospects, la qualité du trafic, le volume de conversions, l’efficacité des coûts et le rendement des investissements publicitaires.
- Diriger les initiatives d’optimisation en continu, notamment l’expansion des mots-clés, le raffinement des audiences, les ajustements d’enchères, les tests créatifs, les recommandations relatives aux pages de destinationet la réaffectation des budgets.
- Identifier de manière proactive les risques liés à la performance, les changements de marché, les menaces concurrentielles ou les modifications apportées aux plateformes, puis mettre en œuvre les stratégies d’atténuation appropriées.
- Analyser et interpréter les résultats des campagnes afin d’identifier les tendances, les occasions d’amélioration et les axes d’optimisation.
- Rédiger et développer du contenu publicitaire, y compris des textes d’annonces, des visuels, des bannières, des contenus vidéo et des concepts créatifs visant à soutenir la performance des campagnes.
2. Croissance et réussite client
- Diriger les consultations avec les clients, les revues de performance et les discussions de planification stratégique afin de communiquer les résultats, les analyses et les recommandations.
- Agir à titre de conseiller de confiance auprès des clients en traduisant la performance des campagnes en résultats d’affaires concrets, en les aidant à comprendre l’impact de leurs investissements et les occasions de croissance à venir.
- Identifier les possibilités d’accroître l’adoption des produits, d’augmenter les investissements publicitaires et d’introduire de nouvelles solutions de marketing numérique favorisant la croissance des clients.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes des ventes et les autres équipes interfonctionnelles afin de soutenir les renouvellements, les occasions de vente additionnelle (upsell), les présentations aux clients et les initiatives de croissance des revenus.
3. Expertise technique et résolution de problèmes
- Assurer l’exactitude et l’intégrité de la mise en œuvre des campagnes, de la configuration du suivi, de la mesure des conversions, des paramètres des comptes et des systèmes de production de rapports.
- Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes liés à la diffusion des campagnes, aux écarts de suivi, aux enjeux liés aux sites Web, aux problèmes de conversion et aux particularités propres aux plateformes publicitaires.
- Se tenir à jour quant aux tendances de l’industrie, aux mises à jour des plateformes, aux capacités d’automatisation, aux solutions publicitaires propulsées par l’intelligence artificielle et aux meilleures pratiques émergentes.
- Contribuer au développement et au partage des connaissances internes, à l’amélioration des processus et à l’établissement de normes publicitaires au sein de l’équipe élargie.
Exigences :
Études, expérience et compétences techniques
- Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en marketing, en communications, en marketing numérique, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience pertinente.
- Minimum de deux (2) années d’expérience en gestion et en optimisation de campagnes de publicité numérique payantes, idéalement dans un environnement d’agence, multi-clients ou axé sur la gestion de portefeuilles.
- Expérience de collaboration directe avec des clients dans un rôle de consultation, de gestion de comptes ou de conseil stratégique.
- Solide expertise des plateformes GoogleAdset/ou Microsoft Advertising.
- Expérience avec Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) et/ou la mise en œuvre de solutions de suivi des conversions.
Compétences non techniques et aptitudes
- Excellentes capacités d’analyse, avec la capacité de transformer les données en recommandations d’affaires concrètes et exploitables.
- Excellentes aptitudes en présentation, en communication et en développement de relations professionnelles.
- Capacité à gérer simultanément plusieurs priorités et comptes clients dans un environnement dynamique et en constante évolution.

Summary of Role
The Paid Media Strategist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital advertising strategies that drive measurable business results for clients. Acting as both a strategic advisor and digital advertising expert, this role partners directly with clients to understand their goals, translate business objectives into effective advertising programs, and deliver ongoing recommendations that maximize performance and return on investment.
The Paid Media Strategist manages campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Display, Video, and other paid media solutions while maintaining a strong focus on client success, growth opportunities, and long-term account performance. This role combines data-driven decision making, strategic thinking, customer relationship management, creative collaboration, and technical expertise to help clients achieve sustainable business growth.
Key Areas of Responsibility (ranked by order of highest priority)
1. Campaign Strategy & Performance
- Develop, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across search, display, and other advertising solutions.
- Translate client business goals, target audiences, competitive positioning, and market opportunities into comprehensive paid media strategies.
- Build and optimize account structures, audience targeting, bidding strategies, budget allocation plans, and testing frameworks designed to maximize performance.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve lead generation, traffic quality, conversion volume, cost efficiency, and return on advertising spend.
- Lead ongoing optimization initiatives, including keyword expansion, audience refinement, bid adjustments, creative testing, landing page recommendations, and budget reallocation.
- Proactively identify performance risks, market shifts, competitive threats, or platform changes and implement mitigation strategies.
- Analyze and interpret campaign results to identifytrends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop advertising copy, image assets, banners, video assets, and creative concepts that support campaign performance.
2. Growth & Client Success
- Lead client-facing consultations, performance reviews, and strategic planning discussions to communicate results, insights, and recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by translating campaign performance into clear business outcomes, helping clients understand the impact of their investments and the opportunities ahead.
- Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, increase advertising investment, and introduce new digital marketing solutions that support client growth.
- Partner closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams to support renewals, upsell opportunities, client presentations, and revenue growth initiatives.
3. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of campaign implementation, tracking configuration, conversion measurement, account settings, and reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve campaign delivery issues, tracking discrepancies, website-related challenges, conversion problems, and platform-specific concerns.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, automation capabilities, AI-driven advertising solutions, and emerging best practices.
- Support the development and sharing of internal knowledge, process improvements, and advertising standards across the broader team.
Requirements
Education, Experience and Technical skills
- College or university degree in Marketing, Communications, DigitalMarketing, Business, ora relatedfield, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum two(2)years of experience managing andoptimizingpaid digital advertising campaigns, preferably in an agency, multi-client, or portfolio-based environment.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consultative, account management, or strategic advisory capacity.
- Strongexpertisein Google Ads and/orMicrosoft Advertising platforms.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager,Google Analytics 4 (GA4),and/orconversion tracking implementations.
