Full job description

This position is responsible for supervising paid and unpaid employees and program participants involved in after school recreation programs. Assist with the development, coordination and implementation of the recreational programs for children and youth ages 5-14 yrs.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Standard First Aid Level & CPR C, or willingness to attain.
  • HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development is required or willing to attain.
  • Criminal Reference Check (18+ years of age) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (19+ years of age) in accordance with the Police Record Checks Reform Act (PRCRA). Applications can be completed online through your local Police Station.
  • G Class drivers license (asset)
  • Available Monday-Friday during after school hours
  • Experience working/volunteering with children aged 5-12
  • Experience supervising a team of staff
  • Available locations : 780 Argyle, Westmount Public School, James Strath Public School, and Edmison Heights Public School
