Jardeg is recruiting for Skilled Labourers for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site
  • Support cleaning and maintenance tasks in the calciner and other process areas, following strict safety and radiation protection procedures.
  • Secure and move materials as needed
  • Operate basic site equipment including spotter equipment as assigned
  • Assist with snow removal duties
  • Identify and report any site damage or hazards
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • CSTS & WHMIS 2015 certifications required
  • Ability and willingness to wear a respirator for extended periods
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Fall Protection
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in mining, milling, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety or previous experience working at a uranium site is an asset
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
