CALGARY STAMPEDE - The Colossal Onion and Chicken Tenders - Line Cooks and Food and Beverage Attendants Needed!

We’re looking for food-minded individuals to join our award-winning Colossal Onion and Chicken Tenders teams!

If you are a line cook or foodie looking to experience Stampede from the inside, this role is for you! We are hiring for all roles: cooks, servers and prep staff.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellent food and exemplary customer service.

Our ideal candidate for this role is a food service worker, a friendly, hard-working team player that can keep up in a fast-paced environment. Customer service and experience in a kitchen/food service environment is required. All applicants must complete the Alberta Safe Food Handler Certification.

Hours of Operation:

Stampede hours of operation

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver exemplary customer service to all customers from start to finish
  • Cook and plate food
  • Experience with deep fryers
  • Monitor and restock supplies at all service stations
  • Prepare food for service (mixing batter, preparing sauces, peeling onions, etc.)
  • Comply with provincial health and safety standards and regulations at all times
  • End of day duties (dishes, restocking, sanitizing work stations, discarding leftover food, etc.)
  • Maintain a professional and positive approach with coworkers and customers at all times

Qualifications:

  • Food service/hospitality experience
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices (Alberta Food Handler Certification required)
  • Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive team player
  • Professional, punctual and organized demeanor
