Full job description

We are looking for a special, creative, and fun educator join our growing team of educators in our designated GREEN SCHOOL.

We are an early learning centre set on one acre of gorgeous tree covered property, which invites us incorporate the natural environment as the "third" teacher in the classroom.

We encourage creative planning and curriculum design to mirror the children's interests and highlight the teachers strengths and personal teaching philosophy.

We are an early learning centre for children 15 months to 6 years of age with programs ranging from Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Kindergarten. We are located in Oakville, Ontario.

We have a lot of extra curricular programs from outside specialists to help support the children's learning and create special experiences like bi-weekly yoga, bi-weekly music classes with Happy Patty, live animal discovery, edible gardens, cookery, gross motor programs, karate, community visitors etc.

Our teaching team is encouraged to create their own plans to enhance the learning within their program, whether that be organizing a visitor to the centre, requesting a field trip, or ordering special supplementary learning resources.

Our Educators have the freedom and flexibility to create their own adventures for their early learners.

RECE preferred. Benefits/Paid sick days/Paid Vacation days/ and a beautiful heritage home work environment with fully furnished staff room and exceptional play ground to create lots of outdoor learning opportunities.
