What you'll do:

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will:

  • Plan and implement programs aligned with HDLH and emergent curriculum principles
  • Foster responsive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning using pedagogical documentation
  • Support children’s social-emotional development using positive, responsive approaches
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Ensure compliance with all CCEYA, licensing, and health & safety requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to continuously improve practice

Skills and Attributes:

We are looking for educators who:

  • Are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) in good standing or ECE student
  • Have a strong understanding of HDLH, CCEYA, and Ontario pedagogy frameworks
  • Are passionate about child-led, inquiry-based learning (Reggio-inspired is an asset)
  • Value relationships, teamwork, and reflective practice
  • Are committed to long-term growth and development in the field
  • Bring professionalism, reliability, and a positive mindset to their work

Wages
Non RECE: $21.00-$23.00/hr (including government grants)
RECE: $25.86-$27.86 (including government grants)
