Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and tea, utilizing barista skills.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
  • Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or other tasks as needed.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with customers and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in cafes or similar environments.
  • Barista experience is highly desirable, including knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Experience in serving, food preparation, cashiering, and food handling is beneficial.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
