Join Alforno Bakery & Cafe's culinary team as a Bread/Bakery Cook, where you will produce high-quality artisan breads and baked goods in accordance with company recipes, standards, and production schedules. Embrace teamwork, exceptional food, and service quality. This role aligns you with industry leaders dedicated to excellence within Teatro Group. Teatro Restaurant Group prioritizes memorable dining experiences, sourcing the finest ingredients for incredible food and attentive service.

Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. At this time, we are not offering immigration sponsorship.

What are the duties to perform:

  • Previous experience as a bread baker or in a commercial bakery is preferred.
  • Knowledge of artisan bread techniques, fermentation, and baking equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of operating mixers, proofers, ovens, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Welcoming and providing customers with the best services

What will you bring to the team:

  • Positive Attitude! and unique attributes and skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required.
  • Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 30 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
