Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen ability to create high-quality beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
  • Uphold food handling practices to ensure the safety and quality of all products served.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
  • Have good music taste!

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Smart Serve is Required.
  • Food Handers Certificate is Required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
