Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista, Cook to join our team. As a Barista, Cook, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve cash handling, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness in the café environment. If you have a passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you. You will be handling food from the back kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure all food handling guidelines are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
• Prep work is essential for the work area

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is an asset.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
