Full job description

Barista – Rocky Dessert Market

Location: Downtown Calgary, AB
Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour + tips (typically bringing total earnings to around $18–20 depending on business levels)
Schedule: Part-time & Full-time available

About Us

Rocky Dessert Market is a fast-growing dessert café known for our handcrafted tiramisu, cheesecakes, specialty drinks, and friendly customer service. We're looking for energetic, reliable people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating a great customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages
  • Serve desserts and other menu items
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions
  • Keep the café clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Complete opening and closing duties
  • Work efficiently with teammates during busy periods
  • Learn additional café tasks as your skills grow

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people
  • Is dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Pays attention to detail and keeps things clean and organized
