Bonjour Bagel is looking for an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Shift Manager to join our team.

We are not simply looking for someone to fill a position. We’re looking for someone who wants to commit long-term, take responsibility, grow with the company, and move into higher management positions.

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, or food service
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a strong asset
  • Excellent English and strong communication skills
  • Natural leadership and the ability to motivate a team
  • Highly professional, reliable, and organized
  • Strong customer service and sales mindset
  • Comfortable with upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention
  • Able to multitask and make decisions independently
  • Calm, efficient, and solution-oriented during busy rush periods
  • Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do

Your Role

As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for making sure your shift runs smoothly from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the team during your shift
  • Maintaining excellent standards of customer service
  • Driving sales and encouraging upselling and cross-selling
  • Organizing team members and assigning priorities
  • Ensuring orders are prepared quickly and correctly
  • Managing Uber Eats and delivery orders
  • Supporting food and beverage preparation during rushes
  • Handling customer concerns professionally
  • Monitoring cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
  • Managing opening and/or closing procedures
  • Restocking and ensuring the restaurant is ready for the next shift
  • Training and supporting new team members
