Food Brand Ambassadors Needed — $22/hr in Calgary, Strathmore, Okotoks, High River | Start: July: Fridays and Weekends

SARA Simply Sampling is hiring Food & Liquor Brand Ambassadors to run in-store demos at grocery stores in Calgary!

You will work primarily in the Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Seton, Cranston, and other SE & SW locations.

⭐ What You Get

✔ Start date:: July 17/18/19 (11am-5pm or 1:30-6:30pm)

✔ Ideally available Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays
✔ $22/hr take-home (no EI/CPP/income tax deductions)
✔ Shifts posted 3–4 weeks in advance
✔ We supply demo tables + disposable sampling supplies + appliances
✔ Great for students, retirees, stay-at-home parents & anyone wanting extra weekend income

Subcontractor position — pick the shifts you want (no monthly minimums)

⭐ Schedule

Typically: 11am-5pm shifts or 1:30-6:30pm

As we do have a bit of a screening process, we'd simply need to complete the following:

  • Video screening call
  • 1 hr Office Training
  • 5- or 6-hr paid Job Shadow

✔ Requirements

  • Outgoing and confident engaging shoppers
  • Strong verbal English communication
  • Access to a car
  • Food handling certificate
  • Weekend availability

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $22.00 per hour

  • These demos to start are fun, cooking ones! We'll provide you a table, an appliance and other disposable supplies - please confirm that you can transport these supplies to your shifts with a vehicle:
  • As we do give you a demo table (<16 lbs) and foldable to bring to your shifts, please confirm that you have access to a car to transport supplies and equipment to and from each shift: Yes/No
  • Most our the stores we operate in are in the downtown, SE, and SW areas such as: Midtown, North Hill, Oakridge, Deer Valley, Shawnessy, West Springs as well as High River, Strathmore, and Cochrane.

Although we have shifts in the north side, in order to get shifts, you must be willing to take demos in the southside of the city.
Please specify areas you're willing to work at:

  • Please specify which dates you're able to do your first solo shifts this month between Thursdays and Sundays
  • How often between Fridays and Sundays would you like to work per week:
  • Which side of Calgary are you in? (NW/NE/SW/SE/Downtown)
