We are a cafe located in Old Quebec St Mall serving specialty coffees and preparing fresh meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our team in Old Quebec. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our cafe runs smoothly, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality food and beverages.
Responsibilities

  • Barista
  • Food and Preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate the POS system for transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe
  • Handle cash and perform cashiering duties
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or service is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to operate POS systems effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Good time management skills to handle busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
