Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Structural Ironworkers’ to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Summer Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as August 5th and lasting as late as August 21st.

Responsibilities:
  • Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
  • Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
  • Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.

Position Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging
