Key Accountabilities:
-
Direct and coordinate divisional financial planning and budget management functions.
-
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and sites.
-
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budgets and forecasts.
-
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows as well as financial accuracy.
-
Manage the preparation of financial reports, financial outlooks and financial forecasts in coordination with Operational Leadership.
-
Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial health, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making through key performance indicators.
-
Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
-
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
-
Establish and implement short- and long-range divisional financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
-
Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
-
Support financial and operational audits as required and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
-
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
-
Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
-
Ability to analyze financial data, explain variances and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
-
Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting, forecasting, and product-line profitability analysis.
-
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to influence operational teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Preferred Requirements:
-
CPA Designation, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or Master's in Business Administration
-
Five to ten years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
