5-Axis CNC Operator Programmer

We are currently seeking a 5-Axis CNC Operator Programmer to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled machining professional with experience in complex tooling and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Job Type:

  • Permanent, Full-Time
  • 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce tooling components for mold and die applications
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and manufacturing specifications
  • Perform machining operations including milling, turning, drilling, and tapping
  • Use precision inspection tools (e.g., probes, micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety legislation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production efficiency and quality standards are met

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating 5-axis CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD data
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Work Conditions:

  • This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting materials within safe limits
