Belcan Inc. is looking for a Weights Analyst to help with calculations for engine components.

As a Weights Analyst you will be:
  • Calculating the weight, center of gravity and moments of Inertias of engine components, of assemblies as well as engine level.
  • Following the engines in all its phases, from its advance concept, to detail, to development as well as in production.
  • Interacting with other departments and technical meetings.
Education and Experience
  • College diploma in Engineering Technology - new grads must provide report card
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems and/or PLM system is highly preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • General knowledge of construction and function of gas turbine engines.
  • Great aptitudes in defining 3D components.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, excellent communication skills.
  • Experience - knowledge with Enovia V6 (PLM - Product Life Management).
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems (other than Catia V5)
