What You'll Do

  • Prepare model, assembly, manufacturing, and two-dimensional metal layout drawings for custom stainless steel equipment
  • Generate complete and accurate Autodesk Inventor drawings and metal layout drawings from AutoCAD and/or hand-drawn sketches
  • Incorporate best shop assembly practices into Inventor drawings to maximize fabrication efficiencies in time and materials

  • Work with the CAD Design Supervisor and shop floor team to establish guidelines for installation and shop drawings that meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Implement customer requirements on drawings submitted during the customer-facing phase of projects
  • Perform other related duties as required

Where You'll Work

This is a full-time, onsite role based at the Quest manufacturing facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Day-to-day, you'll work in close coordination with the Layout team and the manufacturing team in a dynamic environment where your drawings directly inform what gets built on the shop floor.
