Who we are

We are a wholesale meat supplier/processor that specializes in supplying Japanese-style meats to restaurants, food retail stores, and food establishments in the lower mainland. We are looking for enthusiastic team players to join our growing company.

Job duties

-Operating meat slicer, portioning, packaging

-Some deboning/trimming, portion cutting

-Keeping track of inventory of meat products

-Organizing daily orders for delivery

-Properly performing clean-up of work area and machinery

Requirements

-Knowledge of meat and experience in cooking/restaurants an asset.

-Ability to work in cold environments (10 degrees C).

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

-Effective problem-solving and time management skills

-Comfortable working with meat (beef, pork, chicken)

-Ability to work independently and work with others.

-Good command of the English language

-Japanese ability is an asset

-Candidates requesting long-term work will be preferred.

-Must have valid work permit/visa and currently reside locally.

Wage

-$19 to $25/hr hour (depending on experience)

-Health benefit plan after 6 months

-Annual bonus(es)

Hours

7:00 am -3:30 pm Monday to Friday (hours are flexible)

- All stat holidays off.
