Technical Sales Manager – Canada

Location: Greater Toronto Area preferred. Other locations may be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: C$90,000 – C$105,000 per year, depending on experience

The Opportunity

TC Measurement & Control Inc. is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to help grow our Canadian business.

This is a hands-on technical sales and account management role, suited to someone with experience selling technical or industrial products who is looking for a long-term opportunity with an established international manufacturer.

You'll work with existing customers throughout Canada while developing new business opportunities and helping expand our presence in the Canadian market.

As the business continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities to progress into a Regional Manager or Country Manager role with increasing responsibility for sales, customer development and the future direction of TC Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop customer accounts across Canada
  • Develop new business opportunities with industrial and manufacturing customers
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
  • Prepare quotations and provide technical and commercial support
  • Assist customers with product selection and application requirements
  • Follow enquiries through to order completion and delivery
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Work closely with colleagues in production, purchasing, sales and logistics
  • Help develop the Canadian customer base and long-term sales strategy
  • Represent TC Measurement & Control professionally at all time

What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with experience selling technical or industrial products into engineering, manufacturing or industrial markets. Your background might include:

  • Technical Sales
  • Industrial Sales
  • Engineering Sales
  • Industrial Distribution
  • Account Management
  • Customer-facing Technical Support

Previous experience of temperature measurement products is not essential. Full product and industry training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in B2B technical or industrial sales
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Confidence preparing quotations and negotiating with customers
  • The ability to understand customer requirements and technical information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
