Job Overview

NSSL is looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, and automation solutions that improve business decision-making and operational efficiency.

This role is primarily focused on AI development, including large language models, AI agents, copilots, RAG, workflow automation, and integration with business systems. The role will also include a machine learning angle, supporting predictive models, anomaly detection, forecasting, and data-driven recommendations where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-powered applications, agents, copilots, and automation tools.
  • Develop solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent frameworks.
  • Connect AI solutions to business data, documents, APIs, dashboards, and internal systems.
  • Build tools that help users summarize information, answer questions, generate insights, and automate manual work.
  • Support machine learning use cases such as forecasting, prediction, anomaly detection, and recommendation models.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to create reliable AI-driven outputs.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts, then support production deployment.
  • Evaluate AI solution quality, accuracy, usability, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, or AI application development.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts such as classification, regression.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools with databases, documents, dashboards, APIs, and business systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for AI/ML and continuous learning.

We are looking for someone who can build practical AI solutions, not just experiments. The right candidate should be strong in AI application development, comfortable with modern GenAI tools, and capable of applying machine learning where prediction, forecasting, or anomaly detection is needed.

Join us if you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence! We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where innovation thrives—empowering you to make a meaningful difference through technology that shapes the future.

NSSL is an equal opportunity employer.
