Business Development Manager

At Darwynn, we are driving the evolution of the North American fulfillment industry through a multi-tenant, intelligent, and automated fulfillment network. Our platform empowers retailers, brands, and businesses with scalable, state-of-the-art logistics solutions.

Join a team of experienced professionals across operations, fulfillment, technology, and sales, with deep expertise in industries including pharmaceutical, transportation, 3PL, and global sourcing.

Location: Toronto, ON (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow Fulfillment & Distribution business across Canada
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, including cold-calling and pipeline development
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and onboarding
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts to drive retention and increased share of business
  • Prepare and present pricing, quotations, and service proposals; collaborate internally on execution plans
  • Negotiate commercial terms with customers and carriers to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates in CRM and internal systems
  • Engage prospects and clients through multiple communication channels

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • (experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Comfortable with proactive outbound sales, including cold-calling
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; CRM experience required; Power BI is an asset
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics and supply chain industry
