Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, BIS the SAP SD Functional Systems Analyst is responsible to support and enhance SAP landscape within the Sales and Distribution (SD) domain. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on configuration expertise, strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end SAP SD solutions, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post go-live support. You will also play a key role in integrating SD processes with other SAP modules, ensuring seamless functionality across Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), and Project Systems (PS).

Key Accountabilities:

1. SAP SD Solution Design & Delivery - Design, configure, and deliver end-to-end SAP SD solutions covering order management, pricing, shipping, and billing to meet business requirements.

2. Cross-Functional Integration & Collaboration - Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with FI/CO, MM, PS, and external systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting interfaces and testing.

3. Project Execution & System Support - Lead and support full lifecycle SAP SD projects and enhancements, including requirements analysis, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.

Major Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on configuration and support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including pricing, order management, delivery billing and credit management.
  • Lead full lifecycle SAP SD implementations, including analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Develop and review functional specifications for enhancements, custom developments and integrations.
  • Project experience on Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP systems including iDocs, RFCs. BAPIs etc.
  • Work closely with FI/CO, MM, and PS teams to ensure smooth integration of cross-functional processes.
  • Participate in system testing, defect resolution, and quality assurance activities to validate end-to-end business processes.
  • Conduct business demos, user acceptance testing (UAT), and knowledge transfer sessions for stakeholders.
  • Support SAP projects and enhancements following Agile methodology.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios for functional and integration testing.
  • Provide configuration, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support for projects and change requests.
  • Contribute to project documentation, training materials, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize SAP SD functionality and improve business efficiency.
  • Maintain strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori applications, and emerging digital capabilities.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
  • Configure and optimize SAP SD modules (order processing, shipping, billing).
  • Manage the full sales order lifecycle from creation to invoicing.
  • Customize pricing procedures, sales structures, and distribution channels.
  • Ensure integration between SD, MM, FI, and related modules.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and post‑implementation support.
  • Analyze and improve sales and distribution processes.
  • Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities.
  • Contribute to the BoM Restructuring Project by aligning SD processes with hierarchical BoM requirements.
  • Collaborate with MM and finance teams on pricing, quotation structure, and pilot vendor data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of SAP SD functional experience with at least two or more full life cycle project implementations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, SAP certification in S/4 HANA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional systems analyst, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA and SD modules
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle SAP implementation and support projects
  • Strong knowledge of SAP configuration and customization in S/4HANA and SD modules
  • Strong skills in order management, shipping, billing, SD configuration and Master Data
  • Experience customizing pricing procedures, SD account assignment, Revenue recognition and SD organizational structures
  • Knowledge of integration with MM,PP, FI and related modules
  • Hands‑on experience with testing and resolving functional issues
  • Strong understanding on Purchasing Process, Production process, Account receivables and payables
  • Familiarity with hierarchical BoM concepts is a strong advantage
  • Experience working with large datasets and transformation projects
  • Experience with S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and LSMW/data migration tools
  • Implement SAP SD enhancements including user exit changes, custom ABAP developments
  • Debugging skills and familiarity with ABAP development principles
  • Strong analytical, communication, Presentation Skills and cross‑team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and support stakeholders across sales, logistics, finance
