As a leader in the industrial safety training and equipment business, ASTEC SAFETY-Lloydminster is seeking an energetic & positive team player who will go out of their way for customers and team mates to re-inforce ASTEC SAFETY's value proposition to our customers.

Reporting to the Manager-Administration, you will serve our industrial safety customers as they seek just the right services for their corporate and individual safety training needs. Everyday we come alongside a broad cross-section of customers requiring solutions to create the safest workplaces in the region.

Serving your internal customers (ASTEC Team Members) so they can deliver ASTEC SAFETY excellence to the marketplace is what our Administration Team is recognized for. If you take pride in team accomplishments, then this job is for you.

You will co-ordinate resources, work closely with our customers, and care for the foundation upon which the team achieves success. Often multi-tasking, you will have a proven ability to shift gears as priorities are re-defined. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate incoming queries for training and finance service, both via telephone and email.
  • Become an expert user of the Learning Management System (LMS) to schedule training resources, book both classroom & on-line safety courses for customers and issue safety certificates upon completion.
  • Liaise with service partners to deliver service, seamlessly, for St. John Ambulance's First Aid and Energy Safety Canada's H2S Alive, as well as the Utility Safety Partner’s (Ground Disturbance 201, 101, & Locating 101) training programs.
  • Provide on-going support for daily accounting functions to enable orderly business interaction with our customers for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing.
  • Execute key aspects of our social media activities on Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, corporate website and in-branch display units.
  • Administer safety compliance systems that include ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, and AB & SK WCB processing.
  • Co-ordinate on-going business communication with customers to facilitate training and service that exceeds their expectations.
  • Work on special project teams to deliver new functionality, service options and processes to better achieve business goals.

Skills or Expertise Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office or Office 365.
  • Experience with accounting system software (Sage Simply, Quickbooks) would be a definite asset.
  • 1-2 years administrative experience in a general office environment or straining institution.
  • Referenceable track record of success in a team-based environment.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week) 8:30AM-5:30PM Mon-Fri

Compensation: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
