Overview: Tired of boring mundane jobs. Load Covering Solutions offers a wide variety of tasks and assignments based on our extensive product line and custom job shop set up to meet our customers needs. If you are looking to have a more interesting job, learn new skills and advance in your career, come to LCS. We are a stable employer and have been in business for over 46 years. We are the leading manufacturer of mechanized tarping systems and supply product to the military, NASA and other unique customers. We require mechanically minded technican(s) with good problem solving skills to assemble and install mechanical tarping systems onto trailers. 44 hours a week plus Overtime. Hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm - Friday 7:00 - 4:00. Must be reliable and dependable.

Qualifications: Must be mechanically proficient, competent at using hand and power tools, be read a tape measure, complete basic math calculations and follow instructions on the floor. Must have a minimum of 2 years of shop manufacturing experience including working with tools and electrical knowledge and awareness. Must be able to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. Must be able to follow oral directions and demonstrated skills. We offer competitive pay and benefits. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. Must demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn. Grade 12 education is preferred; automotive or manufacturing experience would be a plus. Must be able to read and speak English. Located conveniently in Burlington at Burloak and Harvester. Some overtime required.

Duties:

  • Swipe into correct work order and task for job assignment
  • Read and correctly interpret work orders for each job and all order specifications
  • Assemble component parts for installation
  • Install product components onto trailers using power and hand tools
  • Modify component parts to custom order specifications using various tools and pieces of equipment
  • Complete work assignments within the identified timelines
  • Ensure work performed meets quality requirements
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols
  • Make sure all component parts are correctly installed and meet order specifications
  • Control and manage all assigned tools and work spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
