Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of our manufacturing or industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and leadership. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and customer service are top priorities.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance and facility infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history
  • Maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panel
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and repairs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
  • Electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting, and system repairs
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
  • Experience using CMMS software for maintenance management
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a customer service-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail
