Full job description

Foody Goody Chinese Buffet Restaurant is looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join our kitchen.

Position

Part-Time Sushi Prep / Sushi Roller

Schedule

  • Start time: 3:30 PM
  • Usually until 6:30–7:30 PM
  • End time depends on business volume. If we are busy, shifts may be slightly longer. If it is slower, you may finish earlier or assist with other kitchen duties.
  • 3–5 shifts per week (minimum 3 days)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and roll sushi
  • Basic food preparation
  • Assist with general kitchen duties as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Sushi experience is preferred but not required.
  • Applicants must have previous kitchen experience.
  • Comfortable with basic knife skills and food preparation.
  • Able to work quickly, efficiently, and pay attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.

Pay

  • Starting at $16/hour
  • Higher wage available depending on experience and skills.
